Air Bandung by Food De Sentosa

One reason why I love driving along Aguirre Ave. in BF Homes Paranaque is because there’s a lot of food places to try in the area.

In one of my “adventure trips”, I decided to go inside this Singaporean cuisine restaurant called Food De Sentosa.

The place is actually nice and cozy. The staff are friendly and the service is quite accommodating.

Since I was not really in the mood to eat, I decided to just have some milk tea. The owner, who happened to be there, suggested that I try the Air Bandung.

As I recall, this is a popular drink in Malaysia and Singapore. It’s basically milk flavored with rose cordial syrup. I saw how one of the staff prepared the drink from scratch in front of me.

And this is how the “finished product” looks like, topped with coffee jelly.

How was it? Well, the initial take to the palate requires an open understanding to the rose flavor, but the milk will soon take over and a familiar creamy goodness will finish your sip.

So that’s my Air Bandung adventure at Food De Sentosa.

I recommend the place if you’re looking for authentic Singaporean cuisine in Paranaque. Try the Beef Curry and the Hainanese Chicken, it’s their best sellers!
