Bubble Tea: Chocolate Milk Tea and More

By | October 31, 2010

.

It was back in college when I first got to taste tea with milk. I didn’t like it. I don’t know what happened but years after, it’s now something I occasionally crave for.

At home, I have my supply of Lipton Milk Tea. Even in Starbucks, I make my own tea latte. And now, I’ve discovered Bubble Tea – a place where I can really have premium milk tea for those big cravings.

That’s me showing off my Chocolate Milk Tea – really yummy and creamy. The tapioca balls (the bubbles) – soft and chewy.

Interestingly, Bubble Tea is not your ordinary tea place. They’re actually a restaurant where you can eat Japanese fusion comfort food. They have pasta, rice dishes, soups, sandwiches, burgers, noodles, sashimis and my personal favorite maki-zushis.

That’s the Vancouver Maki – a very comforting fushion of breaded prawn, spicy tuna and teriyaki sauce. Japanese food lover or not, I guarantee you will love this maki.

I’m now officially a fan of Bubble Tea. And you can too through their Facebook Fan Page here.

Become a fan and be updated of their latest promos and contests. Currently, they have the PICHUR PICHUR CONTEST where you can win a Nikon Coolpix S230 Camera and Bubble Tea Gift Cheques.

Bubble Tea has branches in The Block – SM North Edsa, SM Megamall and Tomas Morato. Soon, they will open another branch in Wilson Street in Greenhills.

And to all my thirsty readers out there, here’s their beverage menu. Just click the thumbnail to zoom. Cheers!
