After being out on the streets for almost the whole day, watching the dancing and stage performances of the Pintados Kasadyaan Festival 2010 in Tacloban last June, I was ready to retire and sleep early.

But not before I try the best bulalo in town from calle Z café!

Sipping the warm soup was heaven, the beef – tasty and tender.

But that’s not the only thing that’s good to eat in calle Z, another one of their bestsellers which I truly enjoyed was the sizzling bangus sisig.

I had three cups of rice that night would you believe?!

And I washed all it down with some homemade iced calamansi juice.

calle Z cafe is a cozy and affordable place to relax and hang out with your friends. They have a wide selection of music for all ages and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

So if you ever find yourself in Tacloban City, Leyte – don’t forget to visit this “must eat” destination! calle Z cafe is located along 39 Independencia St. and they’re open from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Visit their official website here to learn more about them and see more photos of the people who enjoyed dining in calle Z cafe.
