Figaro has joined the milk tea craze in the metro and is offering a wide variety of unique and affordable tea-based drinks and juices.
I was invited last week to sample all their seven drinks and I’d like to share with you today some of my favorites were.
I didn’t just eat at Figaro that day, I was also able to taste two of their latest dinner meals, which I’d like to feature below first.
The one above is the Crusted Dory Fillet in Creamy Pesto sauce and Rice Pilaf, while below is the Pan-Seared Chicken Barbecue with Java Rice.
Among the two, I liked the chicken meal better but the rice pilaf that came with the dory is a must-mention because it was quite tasty and went well with the fish and pesto sauce.
Other dinner meals that are on their menu are the Chicken Rice Bake and the Tofu Steak Rice (good for vegetarians). All dinner meals come with a glass of fresh lemonade.
Above are four tea-based drinks that Figaro is offering: Strawberry Lemon Iced Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, Raspberry Milk Tea and Taro Pudding Milk Tea.
All of them come with various kinds of add-ons like tapioca pearls, nata, coffee jelly and pudding. Just tell the barista how you’d like to have yours.
Among these four, I was quite pleased with the Raspberry Milk Tea. First because it was my first time to taste that flavor in milk tea, and second was because it was the most creamy and refreshing among the four.
And then there’s the trio of ice-blended drinks: Taro Pudding Chiller Feast, Honeydew Frost with Figaro Tea and the Wintermelon Frost with Classic Tea.
I simply loved the Taro Pudding among the three, the cornflakes and tapioca pearls really gave it a unique texture every time you sip.
The other two beverages, come with flavored popping bobas. Those are the red pearls you see here and a must-try if you haven’t experienced having those in a drink – it’s really quite a pop!
There’s no saying how long these drinks will be available in Figaro, so you better try them today and have a tea-drinking experience like no other.
Thanks again to Figaro for inviting me to try their Dinner Meals and Milk Tea Craze menu.
