Seattle’s Best Coffee is one of the first stores that opened along Megastrip in SM Megamall as far as I can recall. I remember hanging out with friends there many years ago when I was still working in Ortigas, Pasig.
That’s why whenever I am in the area, I couldn’t help by reminisce the many times I’ve sat there and enjoyed their ice blended Javakula drinks.
They have many varieties for the Javakula. My favorite is the very simple Javakula Mocha which is similar to its more famous cousin, the Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino.
My two other friends were adventurous enough to try the other Javakula varieties, which was the Java Chip Javakula:
And the Brownie Javakula, which happens to be my second most favorite ice blended drink in Seattle’s Best Coffee:
I find SBC (as I fondly call Seattle’s Best Coffee) drinks sweeter than those from other cafes. So if you’re not currently friends with your sweet tooth, then you might want to hold your visit to SBC for another day.
Otherwise, head on over to the usually less crowded branch of SBC near you and try their Javakula.
Lastly, just a bit of trivia, did you know that in the US, Seattle’s Best Coffee is a subsidiary of Starbucks?
And for those wondering, a medium sized Javakula will give you around 480 calories.
But if you’re NOT on a diet, then the Cookie with Oreo Javakula with Whip is for you because you won’t have to worry about the 600 calories that comes with it. ๐
I just tried my first JavaKula yesterday, a Double Chocolate Mint one. Seattle’s Best Coffee really knows it’ business ๐
How much is their Javakula? :))
small 3 something and large $4.75 in my area. For a little extra, you can ask them to double the topping or coffee, depending on what you like. My current favorite is the cookie dough javakula.
