I’ve been a diner at Twenty One Plates for quite some time; and it’s a wonder why I’ve never blogged about it here. So I’m fixing that today and telling you now about this must-eat restaurant in Parañaque City.
Twenty One Plates is unique because their menu, composed of only 21 dishes, changes around three times a year – that alone gives you an exciting reason to always come back.
When you arrive at Twenty One Plates, the first thing you should do is to check-in to the place in Foursquare, so you could get their “Check-in Special” that will give you a free single serve iced tea.
Now what’s good to order here? Well, everything to be honest!
But the one you see above is my favorite, the Indonesian Fried Chicken. That’s two chicken breast fillet steeped in a spicy mix of garlic, cracked black pepper, chilies, tumeric and soy sauce.
It’s served on top of a generous portion of garlic-tumeric rice and comes with a special sauce.
While they do change their menu several times a year, there are some dishes which I think will never be taken out because it has become a favorite of everyone.
One such dish is Bo’s Kaldereta. This bestseller is actually slow-cooked in coconut milk, that’s why it’s tender, delicious, full of flavor and definitely unforgettable.
Anyway, the last time I was there, they were busy preparing the 2012 Valentine Menu and I was lucky enough to get a taste-preview of their dessert-drink, the Spiced Nutella Hot Chocolate.
They are offering three set meals for Valentine’s Day: Mushy & Cheesy, Hot & Fiery, and Wet & Wild. You can learn more about it here. The hot chocolate is their dessert for the Hot & Fiery set.
And just in case you already have plans on the 14th, then it’s okay because these will be available from February 11 to 19 – maybe even longer. 😀
Are you on a Cohen diet? Then Twenty Plates is the place for you. Because the owner, Chef Tinette, has also designed a deliciously special menu for those who are living this lifestyle. Yay!
I guess that’s it for now on one of the top dinner spots in Metro South. You can find Twenty One Plates at 205 Aguirre Ave. in BF Homes, Parañaque City.
Oh, one more thing! Be a fan of their official Facebook page HERE and you’ll enjoy a perpetual 5% discount when you dine in. Woot!
